Why We Built This

It started with a frustration we both shared. As developers who had been through campus placements and internship applications ourselves, we kept seeing the same thing — incredibly talented students getting overlooked because they had no portfolio, or a badly thrown-together template.

Recruiters spend an average of 6 seconds on a resume. A portfolio website changes that entirely. It gives them something to explore — your personality, your projects, your actual ability — not just bullet points on paper.

From Idea to 50+ Portfolios

Early 2025

The Frustration

Sujay and Ashish, both helping friends with placement prep, kept seeing the same pattern — talented students losing out with no portfolio. The idea was born over a late-night conversation.

Mid 2025

First Build

Built a first portfolio for a friend — free of charge, just to prove the concept. He landed an internship interview within a week of it going live. The results spoke for themselves.

Late 2025

Going Live

After refining our process, we officially launched PortfolioForge. Within the first month we delivered portfolios to 20+ students across India — from engineering to design to MBA.

50+ and Growing

Over 50 professional portfolios delivered to students across India. We continue to expand with premium plans, certificate showcases, domain assistance, and add-ons.
